Aim Higher Event at the Science Museum, London, October 2024 I had the privilege to speak at the Aim Higher event in London, hosted by NASA astronaut Nicole Stott and astronaut manager Christina Korp at the Science Museum’s IMAX Theatre. Sharing the stage with inspiring figures from the space, science, and ocean industries, I was thrilled to talk about my passion for the creative arts and their vital role in our collective efforts to protect the planet.
Conservation Storytelling Workshop with the Manta Trust, September 2024 For World Manta Day, I had the opportunity to speak in a one-hour workshop with Jasmine Corbett and the Manta Trust about the impact of storytelling and how we can harness our creative talents to inspire positive change.
Ocean Culture Life, Worlds Ocean Week, Jersey, June 2024 For World Ocean Day, I spoke on a panel at Ocean Culture Life's WOD event, where I shared my passion for using art to communicate important environmental messages. I was speaking alongside Nicole Scott, an astronaut, aquanaut, and the first person to paint a watercolour in space; Christina Korp, an astronaut wrangler, producer, and space advisor; Ellie Moore, project manager for Sheba Hope Grows; and Tamsin Raine, co-founder of Ocean Culture Life.
Art meets Science WorkShop with Bimini Shark Lab, December 2022 I led a week-long trip with the Bimini Shark Lab, combining my passions for art, sharks, diving, and conservation. We introduced participants to sharks, deepened their understanding, and inspired them to create art for change. By teaching new techniques, we sparked a passion for ocean advocacy, successfully cultivating a new group of ocean art advocates dedicated to protecting the world beneath the waves.
Camberwell College of the Arts, UAL, February 2022 - Artivism Speaker, I spoke to over 1000 Students about how you can use your creative skills to raise awareness about the environment.
University of Hertfordshire Arts Society, March 2021 - Artivism Speaker, I spoke to over 500 Students about my passion for Artivism, my creative practice, diving and how to use your creative skills to make a change.
